Mikhail Gourevitch

Mikhail Gourevitch joined RBC in 1999 as a parliamentary journalist and analyst. Mr. Gourevitch rapidly progressed through positions of increasing responsibility to become the Deputy Director of RBC's media business in charge of advertising and promotion in 2004. He played the leading role in creating the daily electronic newspaper Ytro.ru, which grew into one of the leading online sources for general news in Russia. Prior to joining the company, he was a co-owner of the Israeli-based news agency Cursor, which ran a Russian language news service. He also produced the first radio program in Israel (CHAVO.net) about the Internet for the Russian speaking audience. Mikhail actively participated in the establishment of the Russian Internet through numerous thematic projects, associations, conferences and forums. He hosts a television program on RBC TV, which is dedicated to marketing, public relations and advertising. Mr. Gourevitch also teaches lectures on information stream management in the Internet at the Journalism Faculty of the Moscow State University. He graduated from the Academy of Commercial Communications in Tel Aviv. He received his second educational degree from the North-West Academy of Public Administration in Saint Petersburg.
