Hans-Joerg Rudloff Independent Board member At the beginning of his career Mr. Rudloff joined the renowned American investment banking firm of Kidder Peabody in New York. Then he continued to work for Kidder Peabody in America and Europe and became Chairman of Kidder Peabody International in 1978. He became a member of the Board of Kidder Peabody in New York. In 1980, Mr. Rudloff moved to Credit Suisse First Boston, where he became the driving force in the development of the firm’s international business, as well as the International Capital markets. He became one of the most innovative bankers in the fastest growing financial market in the world. He was elected Vice Chairman of Credit Suisse First Boston and subsequently was appointed to the general management of Credit Suisse in Zurich, in charge of all capital market and security business, where he earned the nickname “King of the Euro Markets”. In 1989, he became Chairman and CEO of Credit Suisse First Boston, Europe’s largest investment bank and in 1993 he was elected to the Executive Board of CS Holding in charge of the strategy of the Credit Suisse First Boston Group. In 1998 Mr. Rudloff joined Barclays Capital as Chairman of the Executive Committee. Mr. Rudloff serves on the boards of: TBG Group (Thyssen-Bornemisza Group), the Advisory Board of Landskreditbank Baden-Wurttemberg and the Beirat of EnBW (Energie Baden-Wurttemberg), as well as other public and academic institutions. He is also the vice-Chairman of Novartis AG. He has been on the Advisory Board of the EBRD and is constantly financing and advising super national organizations like the World Bank, EIB, Inter American Development Bank and obviously all the Sovereign States. Mr. Rudloff is considered one of the experts in International Capital Flows and the architecture and framework of International Finance.
