RBC TV named Russia's best television project
Moscow, August 8, 2006 - The RBC TV business television channel has been granted the annual national Rossiya-2006 (Russia-2006) award in the category of The Best Television Project for the comprehensive disclosure of business information.
Among the 12 Rossiya-2006 prizewinners are private companies from various industries, research and development institutes and cultural organizations, as well as individuals who have contributed to the development of Russia.
"We were happy to receive the Rossiya-2006 national award. The fact that RBC TV was rewarded for The Best Television Project proves that we are managing to achieve our number one aim, which is to provide our audience with the relevant, accurate and useful business information," General Director of RBC TV Artyom Inutin said.
The Rossiya award was established on the initiative of the Krasnaya Ploshchad (Red Square) agency and is set to strengthen the role that Russian society plays in the implementation of top-priority national projects as well as ensure the positive image of achievements by prominent companies and people in all spheres of life for the sake of Russia.
