RBC receives national award from Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry
Moscow, July 15, 2008 - This year, the annual fifth Zolotoy Merkuriy national entrepreneurship award ceremony took place in the World Trade Centre in Moscow. The RBC group of companies (MICEX, RTS: RBCI), which has recently celebrated its fifteenth anniversary, won the award in the 'Contribution to Building a Positive Image of Russia' category. RBC General Director Yury Rovensky received the award from the President of Russia's Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), Yevgeny Primakov.
The Zolotoy Merkuriy national entrepreneurship award was established by Russia's Chamber of Commerce and Industry in 2002. The co-founders of the award included the nation's largest financial institutions: Russia's Federation Council, Ministry for Economic Development, Regional Development Ministry and Regional Development Assistance Fund.
