RBC announces new appointments
Moscow, 1 July 2009 - On June 30, 2009, the Board of Directors of OAO RBC Information Systems (RTS, MICEX: RBCI) held two meetings, during which the General Director and the Chairman of the Board of the company were reelected by majority vote.
As a result, RBC co-founder German Kaplun, former Chairman of the company's Board of Directors, was appointed RBC General Director, effective July 1, 2009. Owing to his appointment to the position of RBC General Director, the Board also considered the question of reelecting the Chairman of the Board of Directors. The General Director of the RBC TV business channel - Artyom Inutin, who has been in charge of RBC's media business for more than 10 years, was elected as a new Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company.
